Call forward a voice mail from Samsung iDCS 28D
« on: July 08, 2010, 02:08:56 PM »
I have a Samsung iDCS 28D.  I need to program my station so that when someone calls me and leaves a voice mail, it will then dial my cellphone so that i can retrieve the message remotely and then allow me to return the call using the number called from the Samsung system.  I had this set up once before but for some reason it quit working.  Can anyone help?  Thanks  kyle@tymeless.com   985-290-7180   :002:

Welcome to My Phone Techs!

Okay... let me ask a quick question... when you say you called the person back using the phone system, how did you do that? Did you press an option while listening to the message or did you dial a phone number to access the system?

This might be an easy fix or it might take a trained technician to look into the problem because it might require tech level access.

Kyle, are you talking about message alert?  Where it calls your cell and plays the message for you (after you enter your password)?  If so, that's a user function that you can set up yourself.  Log into your mailbox, when you hear "you have no messages" press 6 then 1, and follow the prompts to set up message alert.  It may already be set up with your cell number (if it worked in the past), you might just need to activate it with in the 6 1 menu.

If that doesn't do what you were hoping for, you will need to contact your service provider as Marc had mentioned...
