ACS 6 mute ?
« on: July 07, 2010, 09:44:01 AM »
ACS 6 , euro 18 phones how do I mute ?

I assumed it would be a feature code programmed to a button but I don't see the code

I do see the MIC key works while on speaker but he needs it for the handset . can the handset be muted during a call ?

Thanks Hal

the application is a poor mans service observing they have four telemarketers and a supervisor so I took privacy off the telemarketer extensions and the supervisor can barge in

I'm thinking of getting him a extra handset and disabling the transmitter

Have you looked at push to mute handsets,Maybe sandman would make them ?

Then supervisor could jump in if needed.

On that note you could use a corded "one touch" headset base and your choice of corded headsets. The base has a mute button. I would think he would want to use a headset for this anyway. Keep in mind that the evesdropping (however it is done) won't go unnoticed because the line buttons on both phones will alternate red and green.
