I was trying to do a backup of my PC to my OneDrive account. In the process, it said that my Outlook .pst file was holding it up and that this file needed to be moved outside of my documents. I did this by creating a new folder outside of documents and put the .pst files in there. Easy or so I thought. After the backup was done, I thought I put the .pst files back where they belong.
I'm not sure I understand why this would interfere with a backup anyway, but that's another subject. I'm using Windows 10 by the way.
My native Outlook account works fine. I have a second POP e-mail account that's having the trouble. I can access the account and look at e-mails up to last Wenesday. Anything after that is gone. In addition, I cannot send/receive from this account now. When I try, I get a message box stating that my Outlook data file cannot be accessed (0x8004010F).
I moved the .pst files for this account back to my Outlook folder in documents where I thought it originally was. When I go to view this file, it shows that sync is pending and won't allow me to do anything with it. I closed Outlook and the pending sync message went away, but it's still not working for the second account. Any ideas?
