Moving soft phone app on NS-700

We have a customer using almost all soft phone apps on their NS-700. The customer's IT guy has replaced two of the PCs and has asked me to move two extensions to these new devices. I forced the de-registration of the two extension numbers and they now show up as available in the left pane of the registration screen. I pull one over and run the registration procedure, but it just hangs there flashing "Executing" in red. It does the same thing for both extensions. Any ideas what I'm missing here?

Sorry for the slow reply, Ed, but it said Panasonic so I didn't even bother opening the thread since Wayne is the guru.  That said, if the only thing that has changed is the workstations, then maybe we can assume that the phone system is still set up the way it was when they first set up the old workstations. 

If that's the case, then we know the hardware is different, and likley some sofrware settings.  I realize you've likely checked this, but what about the Windows Firewall?  Have you disabled it?  Also any/all antivirus.
