So... we have come across this in the field before and it's really a DIY VoIP PBX and not super end user friendly. We have a prospective client with this installed, and we think it will be more logical to put them on a fully supported, known working, system like Star2Star, NEC, etc.

I'd love to hear any input that the community has, here, since I respect your opinions. It just seems that this is too obscure/roll your own, etc. for a business of their size to deal with on adds/moves/changes. We've also had some not so stellar experiences with it in the past when it comes to stability and odd issues, but are open to the idea of tips!

phoneman - thanks, I've reached out to see what options they have! Looks much better than this current system.

hitechcomm - agree, and they just bought it a few months ago, so it's gonna be hard to do. we've struck up a maintenance agreement for now, so they can have local responsive support. we just changed the IVR and a greeting today, and have been troubleshooting some other issues. lots of RF interference and seems to be a known issue with these phone sets... sounds like it is junk and inferior components. we'll keep this patched and band-aided as much as possible for the time being, then after the beginning of the year approach them again about a new system. they are so new in the purchase and SIP contract with spectrum that it's hard to push for all new. kind of a tough spot for them, but we're here to help!
Thanks,
