How to record personal greetings on the E-magen or I-magen Voice Mail:
1. Dial your VM access Code
2. Press ## from your EXT or Press # and your mailbox number
3. Enter you mailbox password
4. Press 3 for Record Personal Greetings
Now choose for one of the following:
Press 1 for your No-Answer Greeting
(This Msg is to tell callers that your are not available)
Press 2 for your Busy Greeting
(This Msg will come on when you are on the phone though the auto-attendant)
Press 3 for your name Greeting
(Just state your name for this Msg)
Once you have chosen one of the above press 6 to record, and then state your MSG then press # 2 to save your MSG.
How to Call Forward your phone:
There are three types of call forwarding:
1. Call forward no answer (CFNA). Your phone rings, then will forward after a certain amount of time.
To set your phone to CFNA dial Feature, 36, 2, and where your want to forward too. (such as and EXT or Voice Mail)
2. Call forward busy (CFBY). Your phone will forward only when your phone is busy.
To set your phone to CFBY dial Feature, 32, 2, and where your want to forward too. (such as and EXT or Voice Mail)
3. Call forward (CF-ALL). Your phone will forward all the time.
To set your phone to CF-ALL dial Feature, 35, 2, and where your want to forward too. (such as and EXT or Voice Mail)
To Cancel forwarding dial #, Feature (the feature code) 2 then SPKR.
These are the default codes and all codes in the Telrad system could have been change. If you are having problems, please start a post in the Telrad section of this MSG board.
How to cancel a silent MSG:
A silent MSG is when you hit your MSG button and it rings another EXT other than going to voicemail. This usually occurs on accident and is very common. From the phone with the MSG button light on.
Press # than the MSG button.
This will delete all silent MSG’s and will turn off the MSG light button. This does not delete any Voice Mail MSG’s and they still will be in your mailbox. The light will come back on with the next Voice Mail MSG.
Changing the Time on the Telrad systems:
To Change the time for the Telrad Digital 818, 128, 400, S1000, IPEX or MPD2.
This consists of the Digital or Avanti phones.
For example, the date and time has to be March 13 2007 at 3:15 PM
From the time set station (In most cases the phone with the night key)
Press Feat 82
Enter in military time 1515
Dial day 13
Dial month 03
Dial year 07
Press SPKR to save
To Change the time for the Telrad Analog 816 and 2464.
This consists of the Tan Analog Phones.
For example, the date and time has to be March 13 2007 at 3:15 PM
From the time set station (In most cases EXT 20)
Press SPKR
Press #
Press TIME
Dial 13 for the date
Dial 03 for the month
Enter in military time 1515
Press TIME
Press SPKR to save
