NEC DX2NA-32
« on: September 16, 2015, 02:42:40 PM »
Anyone work on these before? I have the manual, and it seems very straight forward. We have a client moving into a warehouse and the existing system there works just fine. I told them we would help support as much as we can till it dies, and they are fine with replacing it when it does. Moving in the new building they just don't want more overhead expense, so some basic programming and crosscuts is where we will start.
Thanks,

Anyone know the programming for these? The manual I have doesn't contain programming, unfortunately, only hardware installations.

Ah!  That's back when they were Nitsuko, according to Google. Before my time, I'm afraid. I started with the DS series.

OK, thanks for the update! Anybody on here have any ideas where I can find a programming manual for? I checked the typical PDFtextfiles.com but no luck there either.

Darn, I forgot to follow up, my bad! I found the manual, and have already done a cheat sheet for the client, on the most basic of functions. I am going in tomorrow morning to do programming of ringing and call flow. Thanks everyone for the help!

I just looked there (to bookmark another resource if needed), and couldn't find it. Can you show me where?

I tried the I series manual, but the programming is different. Unless I'm missing something obvious

http://www.wedophones.com/NecManualsLead.htm  The I series I believe
I am a doofus.. LOL, that was the right manual! Thanks Don. It was the "124i - 384i Software Hardware Program Features" and not the install and hardware manual that I clicked on. Totally my bad - durp a durp :)

Hello, I realize this is a really old thread and I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I was wondering if anyone had knowledge with this system.

I work for a small non-profit and the company that used to service our system went out of business several years ago. We have a DX2NA-32 system and everything works more or less fine, but I need to add an extension. I have some general networking knowledge but don't feel comfortable messing around with this set-up for fear I may break the whole system.

I've been looking through the manual that was linked above, but I'm still unsure terminology and what my steps would be. In addition to that all our phone lines go into a poorly labeled patch panel so I'm not even sure where to start or where I would hook it up in the first place.

If anyone was willing to help me that would be incredible. I have photos of everything as well.
