Topic: Samsung iDCS - Forwarding with Account Code

I am trying to setup my Samsung iDCS 28D to forward calls to an external number.  We need to dial 9 + the number, then are prompted for an account code.  How do I program in the account code portion when setting up the forward to an external number?

The code will depend on your service provider.  You need to call them and find out what it is.    

Also...... In the future you may want to look at what model Samsung system your iDCS28D phone is connected to. We will need to know that in order to help you. The iDCS28D phone is used on many different systems.

Thanks for the quick reply.  We have a Officeserv500.  If I just put in the 9 and number, I get prompted for the account code.  I just don't know if/how I can put in the pause and account code + #.  I guess it will be a call to Verizon.

Are you using account codes to make outside calls?
The OS500 does have account codes for access to outside calling if you are using that feature. You can can also call forward off system but every call will take 2 lines and call quality will be poor.

If you dial 9 you will get the first available line out.  If you want to call forward a specific line you have to dial it's access code.

Typically but not always; for line 1, dial 701 and line 2, dial 702 and so on.

Sounds to me like you are using Verizon for account codes.You can add a pause or 2 to the end of the dial number and then your account code.To enter a pause press key 22 which is 3 keys above the HOLD key.
