IVX 20 Station Ring Turned Off

Hello-
i have an esi IVX 20. my station at work has been programmed not to ring for incoming calls (turned off?) and i can't find how to un-do this. any help is much appreciated.

Well you are not going to like this but what you want to do takes place under CO line programming and the person that installed your system probably didn't give you the main password needed to get into that level of programming.

If the original installer is long gone or unknown this can be done remotely or step by step instructions can be sent to you. Either way you got to get past the lack of installer password limitation.

BTW: You have a 25 year old system still working that was originally designed to last 10 years. Not bad!

i submitted an assistance request thru the esi tech page but came looking for forum advice anyway. thanks for the reply.
when they contact me (they will, won't they?), will i need to request the step by step instructions?

I still have clients out there with some old dinosaurs from a different manufacturer.  Kind of like the Energizer Bunny, they just keep going, and going, and going.   :011:
