Request permissions for Technician's & Installer's forum
« on: June 04, 2010, 08:15:19 PM »
Please post here if you would like access to the Technician's & Installer's forum. Please review the following requirements:

From the T.O.S agreement:

If you wish to apply for access to the Technicians & Installers forum section, you should go to the General Forum and post under the topic Technician & Installer Category Permission Requests. Your profile must be complete and you should be employed in the business of installing and maintaining telecommunication systems equipment. Other requirements may also apply. My Phone Techs reserves the right to deny access to the Technician & Installer section to anyone, for any reason. Access to the Technician & Installer section is a privilege reserved for qualified individuals only.

The below has been added to this initial post by board administrators to aid new members in understanding the requirements for admission to the private forums:

***PLEASE READ REGARDING TECH & INSTALLER ACCESS***

To be approved for Technician status you will most likely need 10-15 SUBSTANTIVE/REAL posts (No Joy Posting), and the posts will need to be in the tech boards, not the social boards.  This helps us verify your experience level.  If your TELEPHONE experience background is substantial, and a board moderator both knows you and will vouch for your experience, you may be able to request access immediately.

The Tech and Installer forums are private areas available to approved, legitimate technicians.  Please understand that this policy helps us evaluate members, and protect the integrity of the profession as well as the board.

Thank you for your understanding.

Ken you should now have access to the installers forum.
