Changing Extenders on iDCS 28D
« on: August 19, 2014, 08:55:40 AM »
I work in an office with mostly iDCS 28D. Most of our phones we have been able to successfully change the Direct Station Dial to other extensions on the "keysets" (quick dial keys) but some of the keys and one lady's whole phone when you select the key to change the extension it says 14:none not 13:ds201 -> ds. How do you change the key to be a Direct Station Dial. I looked in the manual in section 1.9 and our right soft key doesn't move the cursor. When I press it the phone just beeps and the display flashes and nothing changes. So I haven't been able to change a thing. Please help.  :016:

Welcome to myphonetechs   :003:

You can change keys when the "DS " is allready assign to them, but installer level access is required when the key is listed as "none."  Your telephone installer should be able to fix this for you.
