OS500 Wireless Question
« on: March 19, 2013, 07:36:50 AM »
I have a customer that has an OS500 with the original Samsung Wireless solution using the WLI wireless card.

I have another customer that has an OS7200 with (2) SMT-R2000A WAPS & (4) SMT-5100E IP Handsets.

If I upgraded the OS500 to the last software version offered (2.76?) and installed a MGI-16 card, could the WAPS & Handsets from the OS-7200 work?

I had a customer with a three cabinet OS500 that had the WAP's and phones. They worked fine.

Thanks, Marc.

They were using those same exact model WAPS & phones?

Yes......what Marc said.

I still have new-in-box, the first gen. wireless phone and WAP used on 100/500 systems.  Let me know if you need them.

I believe 2.76 was the last version of SW for the 500.
