Cutting over a new system tomorrow with a PRI. HELP!
« on: July 05, 2018, 07:41:11 PM »
Hey, all.  I was brought in by my company to ONLY take care of hooking up the existing paging hardware to this on-prem Zultys system.  Now, they're telling me that I need to be in on the PRI cutover call because the company doesn't have anyone who understands telco terminology.  Granted, the system is installed and working and we have the PRI connected to the system, but I'm not sure what else I can do.  Is anyone able to assist me?

Marty (matherton) knows Zultys.

Ed -

Do you have any T-1 test gear (Sunset, T-Bird, etc.)? If the Telco says the PRI is working, can you check to see if it is or isn't?

Without that you're relying on the System info that may or may not (I know nothing about Zultys) be useful.
