How many MGI License for SIP Trunks

If I got a OS7100 with Digital phones and I want to add 3 sip trunks how many MGI licenses to I need to purchase? Does it use 2 MGI channels for the sip to tdm? Or is it one? I look forward to any help. Thanks

MGI licensing  should be 3 so you can use all 3 SIP trunks at the same time.  Are you planning on any IP phones?

Maybe you didn't ask because you already knew, but don't forget the SIP license!  :003:  One for each SIP trunk.

Thanks for the quick reply. No sip phones, just Falcon Phones. I was thinking I needed 2 MGI channels per tdm to sip. But its just a  1 to 1 for using sip trunks.

When I was working on Samsung, it was two MGI trunks for each SIP to TDM. One was used for the SIP traffic and the other was used for the digital to analog conversion.

This could have changed and if Larry says it's just one, then it's probably just one now.

I'm not sure now?

I need to check on it, The last time I put in SIP trunks the system had an MGI card so it wasn't an issue.

I called distributor tech support today and verified, one MGI license per SIP trunk is the requirement.
