Modem thinks it is a FAX
« on: May 14, 2010, 08:06:03 PM »
Does anybody know the "AT" command to tell my internal modem to remember that it is a modem and not a "reasonable facsimile" of a FAX machine when calling out?  I just started using mine again and finally figured out that the default configuration string places it in the FAX send mode when I dial.

This site might be helpful for you, I have used it before when I've had modem issues:

What kind of modem is it?  Internal/external?  What is the default command string?
