My name is
Marv Flower. I am the owner of
TeleMarv Services on Ottawa, Ontario.
I started in the telephone business in 1984 with Ericsson. Yes the same Ericsson that has been around since Alexander Bell's days and is now one of the world's largest telecom companies. In the '80s, in Canada, they were an interconnect. I was THE service tech for the Ottawa branch until they closed up shop in 1990 after being bought and sold several times. We sold and serviced an Automated Call Sequencer that worked on a 1A2. They started selling their own PBX (Prodigy) and were the exclusive Intertel and Toshiba dealers in Canada.
In 1990 when the shop finally closed I was hired as a contractor to look after the customer base. That was when I formed
TeleMarv Services. Being a contractor allowed me the opportunity to branch out and find my own customers. In the early days, most came on board because they were unhappy with quality of service they were receiving from their current suppliers.
20 years later,
TeleMarv Services has since grown to be a one stop shop for voice and data infrastucture.
We specialize:
Nortel Norstar and BCM.
We are a certified Allworx VoIP server reseller.
We provide parts and service for older Toshiba and Panasonic systems.
Design and installation of voice paging systems.
Design and installation of structured voice and data networks.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and playing bass guitar in a local band The Fully Loaded
