7100 453c and 0 subnet
« on: April 28, 2012, 11:29:06 AM »
Upgraded a cust on thursday to v453 c from 430i. After the upgrade, changed the default IP address on the mp10a to a 192.168.0.x network. When I did this, the mp10a would just keep re-setting, It would never come back up.  After about 40 minutes I was able to default the mp10a and change the IP address. Has anyone ever ran into this. Thanks.

I've never seen that happen. Did you change the IP through a GUI or through the keyset. I've been told it's best to do it through the keyset.

I haven't had any problems but I always change the IP via KMMC like Marc states.

Set the IP through the keyset.  I've never seen that before, and honestly it took me a little while to figure out what the problem actually was.
