Comcast PRI

I will be replacing a PRI with one from Comcast which is SIP based. Has anyone converted their customer to a Comcast PRI? How did it go?

I have never done one,but I had a dealer do one a while back and said everthing went well on inbound, but had trouble with outbound to realize he had to provide Comcast with station level outbound CID to allow the call to go out.

Good information... there are a lot of CLEC's that require outbound to be sent.

That is good information!  I have set outbound CID before, not sure if an iDCS100 rel.1 can do it.

Thats correct on the OB caller ID.  You should also be aware of how the incoming DID digits are being sent.  The one SIP based PRI that I have worked with could ONLY send the full 10 digit DID for incoming.  The Toshiba system I was installing could only be set to receive 3-7 digits so there was some confusion at the start.  Somehow it is all working with the system set to receive 4 digits and the cable company sending 10.   :022:
