Anyone else have a problem converting recordings to g726.  Music alone sounds fine but when their is an audio track the words get "Lispy" at the end of them.  I get the same result on several other recordings also each with a different input file type, mp3, wav, aac....
I'm using the following settings.
G726
Frequency: 8000
Bits: 4

Thanks

Do you have a link to the software?

Is this for an OS7100?

I created a cheat sheet for the OS7100 two years ago. I don't know if I still have it, but I know Waine does. Send him a PM and he will send it to you.

It was recommended by a lot of people at the old place but can't seem to get the settings correct.

What do you know... that's the software I recommended. haha

See the attached PDF for instructions on how we have done it in the past without any problems.

I just realized you posted G.726 and we've always used G.729. Have they changed the compression on the prompts?

If I get a chance, I will play around with an MP10a and see what happens.

Hi

On the 7100 MP10 it is 16 bit. Don't know if it changed as we don't install 7100's anymore. it might be the same as OS7030 where I use 8kHz 16bit and Magic Audio Converter.
