Auto answer SPNET calls
« on: December 01, 2010, 04:33:38 PM »
Are SPNET calls still suppose to auto answer at node B when a transfered call comes from node A. The manual states that auto answer is supported across the network but does not state if it has to be a FAUTO nor does it state if SPNET calls will or will NOT follow auto answer setting. Thanks.

I know auto answer on station to station calls will auto answer. But transfered calls from node A to node B auto answer as well. Is there a way to stop transfered calls from being auto answered?

Unfortunatly no.  Ring mode only.  Since the call is technicaly a trunk the system doesnt see it as an intercom call.

But transfered calls from node A to node B auto answer as well.

I'm confused!  If I understand the question, the call is acting like an intercom call and they want it stopped.

Upon rereading my statement, it totally didnt make sense :022:

What I meant to say is; The transfered call is technically sourced from a trunk, BUT the system still sees it as an intercom call through SPNET.  Thus it follows the auto answer condition.
