Merlin Legend
« on: October 20, 2010, 11:34:04 AM »
My customer just bought a Merlin Legend from craigslist and wants me to install it for him.  I haven't seen it yet, but he says it has :  cke4 PROCESSOR
         408 gs/ls/mlx (2 of those)
         008 8v terminal
         012 card for sets
         100 DS1 trunk card
         Macro Voice MVX (desktop version)
         24 phones MLX 10 D
He realizes this is overkill for his small office, but the price was too good.  I've installed Magix but not Legends.
He will have 3 phone lines, and about 5 people (extensions).
I think the only cards he will need installed in the cabinet are the cke4 processor, One 408 card, and the 012 card for the voice mail connections.  Am I correct?
Thanks in advance

That will do it - the 012 will give you 2 touch tone receivers, but does anyone know the Macro Voice, especially in conjunction with a Legend?

I assume the VM worked with the Legend before and should be ok. You would be wise to put the 012 in the same slot it was in to keep the ext # the same for VM.
