Title: SMS gateway

I've never integrated any, so I'm open to suggestions.

The email request from our client:

Do you know of any good SMS gateway providers? Want the ability to send SMS from Outlook.

Tony just as a side-note, you might want to warn the client that many messages may not be delivered.  There is a growing movement as people learn it can be done, to go into your provider's portal and set your phones to either only accept computer generated SMS that go to your unique identifier, or to completely reject all SMS that don't come from another phone.  I cranked ours down to reject all unless they come from another phone, as the dictionary SPAM programs were breaking the unique identifiers.

And they may not get delivered regardless of what you do. Throwing something out on SMS is one thing, but you have to pay extra if you want to make sure the carriers deliver it. They have a nasty habit of randomnly dropping SMS unless they get a taste.
