Title: IE 10
Post by: CMDL_GUY on August 26, 2013, 08:09:53 PM
Dana is running IE 10 on Windows 7 and I've encountered a problem.  When I change the home page to www.msn.com or anything else it remains as
**http://search.conduit.com/?ctid=CT3289663&octid=CT329663&SearchSource=61&CUI=UN14515925861442954&UM=2&UP=SP12248795-C1E7-4E29-A8EF-4A07502AEE51
I inserted the stars at the begining so no one will click on it.

WTF is that!   I have two identical machines and I'm checking advanced setings line by line and also running microsoft MRT.

I've got to fix this before I leave for my daughters house!   :002:

It is a browser hijacker, http://forums.anvisoft.com/viewtopic-53-5501-0.html (http://forums.anvisoft.com/viewtopic-53-5501-0.html) has good instructions for removing the program and assorted bogus extension redirects.

good luck!

PS  i just googled search . conduit . com  (spaces closed) and got lots of hits.
