You can do the same thing in Firefox. I've actually used it to find a password I didn't save.
Do I care? Depends on what the passwords are for. I have a cardfile file (the original cardfile that came with Windows 1) that I started 20+ years ago. There are over 200 logins saved. If I had to open cardfile and scroll to the login for this site then copy and paste each time I came here I would go nuts. Add half a dozen other sites and it becomes impossible. So, really, should I be concerned about somebody hacking my computer and coming here?
Banks and financial institutions are another matter. Many won't allow your browser to save your login. Even if they do, they know when you try to log in from another computer.
