The last stand alone version of Office was 2016.  Newer versionos all require a 365 monthly extortion fee.  My sister's husband's entire job is just handling the MS licensing for a very large healthcare cloud.  He says that they have made it no secret that it's all moving to a monthly licensing fee structure.  Bill Gates has written his own copy of Mein Kampf and just like before, no one is preparing.  A Linux transition seems to be the most logical solution, yet I don't see it happening.
