Aspire S with Inmail
« on: September 18, 2019, 01:40:14 PM »
VM takes calls but won't let you let a message.  Says that its full.  Is there a way to initialize the card through DTMF programming or webgui?  Not familiar with this old guy but I assume it is similar to the rest of them.

I really want them to upgrade which might end up being the answer!!! But if its something stupid and simple I can't be a theif!

Thank you in advance!

I think it uses the same inmail utility as the sv and SL.   You use a compact flash reader andhook it up to your laptop.    Only problem is it only works in XP.  The datalight drivers that allow the utility to access the file system  won’t work with 7 8 or 10

The inmail utilities are branded for each system  but they work universally.

Like ttech says, the InMail utility is a pain in the tookus.  You might get lucky, manually logging into mailboxes to see who's the culprit.  You can set a max number of messages per mailbox with a max number of days until purge to try to prevent this from happening in the future (at least you can in the SL and SV).  They might get a bit more time out of it, but they're running on borrowed time with the age of the Aspire.

It's time for an upgrade, anyway.   :011:
