Author Topic: Incoming Ring Group Forward to Mailbox on TDE-600 with TVS-200  (Read 151 times)

I've set up DID number 401-9111 to ring group 5011, with two members 3080 and 3090.  Upon no answer, calls to this DID reach the main auto attendant, which is what I thought the customer wanted.

Now, they want them to go to a mailbox that is unique from the two member extensions' mailboxes.  I've tried all kinds of settings, but calls always reach the main greeting, not the mailbox.

I even went as far as to point this DID to a vacant SLT port, placed SDN buttons on both member extensions with N/A forwarding on the SLT port to voice mail.  Same result:  The caller reaches the main auto attendant menu of the TVS-200.

What am I missing here?

Ed, this is a TVS200 not a TVA?
So you set up a group mailbox in the TVS with the extension 5011. included those 2 extensions in the group?
I'll have to do some checking but I seem to recall it will only work if the members do not have
their own individual mailbox.

Sorry, Wayne.  Yes, it is a TVA-200 and I have established mailbox 5011 in the system.

Ed, in the TVA when you created mailbox 5011 are you certain you also assigned
extension 5011 to that mailbox?

BINGO!  That was it, Wayne.  I did not have an extension associated with the mailbox.  I don't know how I missed it.  Many thanks for your help!
