The system has been working great for years, but all of a sudden I noticed the web interface on our MBX IP stopped working. I could log in, but none of the subpages in the admin interface would load. Connection would just time out. I hard reset the box, still had the problem. I noticed the System Management section still worked, and I could see that I had NO free space left! I deleted a few unnecessary JPG files to gain some space, about 250 KB.
That got the interface working again. A few days later, again it stops working. Once again, no free space. I've tried clearing any logs that I know of, didn't help. Does anybody know what could be causing this thing to just keep devouring disk space like this? I'll run out of safe files to delete eventually, and I hate this "fix" to begin with. The actual phone system continues to function normally during all of this. No issues with calls or voicemails.
I did do a database download recently, and I am noticing a 3.8 MB file named DB_Down_File.dat in the working directory. Could this be the problem? I would guess this really is just a temporary file generated by the web interface during the download process and the real database is stored elsewhere. Is this safe to delete?
