Sorry for the late reply.  Mark, I'm pretty sure that I have some of the gray Wheelock 'firebells', but they are 24 Volts, DC.  Will that be of any use for you?

Sam sent me a Line powered bell from GTE that works fine, so thanks Ed but I'm covered.

Thank You Sam, It arrived today and works fine, pretty heavy duty for a house but it's a very rural area and will be better then the old one.
