computer telephony integration??
« on: March 05, 2015, 07:56:11 AM »
I read the following for the TA824:

CTI (computer telephony integration): This is an optional set of applications that will allow you to integrate your telephone system with your computer. These applications include one-click dialing, video conferencing, incoming call routing and more.

I have a requirement that they want to be able to click dial on the pc and then i guess pick it up with the panasonic phone. I guess they have a list of phone numbers and dont wanna dial . Any ideas?

Panasonic always liked Poltys. You may try calling one of the sales Reps for them.

Finding something that will integrate with that little analog TA824 is another story.  :023:
Good luck

You can look into Rander.

or I remember years ago we use to use Commsoft, it worked well as I recall.

It's been years since I've done any CTI  :002:

I'm guessing that's probably true.  The good news is your 824 isn't very large :-)

If I were quoting this, not in Panasonic, I'd use about $2500 plus $250 a phone and some labor to interface a cat5e infrastructure to the system.  Then see how much they flinch.

i have 8 cos and maybe 10 sets...what equipment would you suggest that will allow someone to dial from pc and then possibly put the call on hold so someone can pick the physical phone upon that call?
