Transfer outside call to an 800 number on a 4150

Customer is wanting to transfer callers (from outside) to an 800 number from a 4150 set on a Mitel SX200 ML-LW19.  What is the easiest way to do this?  I'd like to do any programming remotely and to just e-mail the directions to the front desk, if I can.  On page 12 of the 4150 User Guide--it seems as if one can Conference and then just hang up when you want to drop out.  It says that you must dial the number---but I was wondering if a SD could be used instead of manually dialing.  I'm trying to get them going without sending a tech there.

Mick I'm sorry I didn't read this sooner.  I suppose you have the situation resolved by now.  I don't read Mitel very often because I'm not familiar enough with which systems are which, but a lot of the programming schemes follow the Inter-Tel formats.  If this one is like that you could program up a key with a hookflash, but we normally set up a phantom extension.

I missed this too.   Hotels want to do this all the time, I'll bet the 800 number is their reservations center.  You have to set up (CFOS) call forward off system, and the button will be a speed dial/CFOS button.  Trunk to trunk needs to also be allowed.

OK.  I haven't taken care of it yet, but now that I'm finally settled for the Winter in the Rio Grande Valley, I'll be doing some remote programming.  Thanks.
