Cable Locators
« on: November 30, 2011, 08:56:30 AM »
Hello All, We are currently using a Super Cable Hound for our locates and are seeking some other options. I'd like to hear from others what might be a better option. We are not happy with the perfomance of the Cable Hound. Thanks in advance!!

We've been using the Progressive Cable Locator system for better than 10 years, and have had very good luck with it.  I don't recall the exact model off the top of my head, but it has the signal strength on both the tone generator and the receiver.  Sometimes I've found that really helps.  Not sure you can even get that on the current versions.
