Believable, but I would really like to hear both sides and from witnesses.

Every major new agency has the same story and there was nothing at snopes.com.

I guess I will be selfish and greedy and keep my internal organs to myself.

I hear you James, never for someone at work, only close family.  I thought it might not be true but every news outlet has the same story.

I became an organ donor about two years ago when my frineds husband was shot and killed in the line of duty, his organs saved multiple lives.  As far as while I am still breathing, close family is it.

Anthony, you make a good point and I agree, if I'm dead you can have anything you want. Being an organ donor is good!

As soon as I saw car dealership and New York, I pretty much stopped reading.  No offense to my NY friends, but car dealers are perhaps the most unscrupulous people on this planet.  Couple this with the stereotypical New Yorker attitude and the story is 100% believable.

Still, as Hal mentioned, I'd like to hear more about this story.  Even a New York car dealer can't be that heartless.  There must be more and I'm sure that we'll hear it in the upcoming days.
