License Wanted
« on: January 11, 2012, 08:00:46 AM »
I want to buy 1 universal license to be used for hands on experimenting. The system is a CS100.
I could buy from ESI but I don't want the minimum of 4.
Will pay in real money.

I wish I could answer that but I can't because I am just now being drug into the ip game, begrudgingly I might add. I wonder myself if the universal licensing is purchased how it will appear in System Programmer under "view ip licensing". There isn't a category for universal, just categories for Esi-link, remote and local.

Getting this done is my way of figuring this smoke and mirrors technology out from the hands on point of view.

We put in a CS 50 a couple of months ago and it shows as UIP in there, and I had to upgrade the software to the latest on a CS-200 to be able to have them load the UIP's. I did notice that you could select how many ESI-Link channels you are using . IP on the ESI's are simple compaired to our other product (Toshiba)

Now if they would just release a pure IP system instead of a repackaged comm server i would be grateful. I hope this long awaited IP 900 will be kick ass and not the same box they showed us at the rollout last year!
