IVX 20

I'm having a problem with ext 100 on an old 20 system. When you go off hook you get nothing on the handset, then when you hang up the speaker comes on and you have to hit the speaker button to hang up. I swapped phones out and problem remains. As I type this I'm wondering if this could be in headset mode. Anybody have John Grider's phone number?

Dont think it would be a headset thing , The phone would have a headset button programed and that would control the on and off hook. Have you tried the phone at the system, bypassing the cable ?
