Help! Trying to make all phones ring on ESI IVX S-Class
« on: April 25, 2011, 11:11:34 AM »
Sorry for the question that is probably VERY simple, but I've searched and studied the copy of the manual I have... I find nothing.

I just want to figure out how to make all the phones ring when an outside line is dialed. Right now station 100 is the only one that rings.

Thanks, and sorry if this is a really dumb question [Smile]

Probably your S-Class is still set to factory default which means all incoming calls are answered by the AA (automated attendant) and since the caller is not making an entry they get forwarded to the defined operator extension which is factory default extension 100.

If you go into line programming and insert the extensions you want to ring in place of ID1 then you will be ringing the extensions you want to ring instead of the AA.

Thanks! I'll see if I have the know-how to do that... If not, I may be back with more questions.  :002:
