Q: How do I change the name on my DCS or IDCS phone
A: from an idle phone press transfer then 1,0,4. press the hold key to erase the present info and type your name using the keys on the phone. eg pressing 4 twice gives you an H if you need to move the cursor use your volume keys.

Q: How do I add a speed dial to my prostar or DCS phone system
A: Dial transfer then 1,0,5. enter the bin were you want the number stored eg: 00 the cursor should move to an open area next to the 00. Enter either a trunk number or 9 then the phone number. press the third soft key (next to scroll) and repeat until all numbers are stored. To add the name dial 1,0,6

Q: How do I change the time on my Samsung phone system
A: Most 7000 series systems will change automatically if they have been programmed. However if you system has not changed then follow these instructions. Press the Transfer button dial 2,0,0. Enter the password 1,2,3,4 (which is the customer default) press 1 then the SPKR key. Dial 5,0,5 then you will see; WMMDDYY:HHMM Enter the day of the week for W (Monday=1 - Sunday=7) Month for MM, Day for DD, Year for YY, military time for HHMM, Press the transfer button to exit.
