How to cancel a silent MSG:

A silent MSG is when you hit your MSG button and it rings another EXT other than going to voicemail.  This usually occurs on accident and is very common.  To cancel:  From the phone with the MSG button light on.

   Press # than the MSG button.

This will delete all silent MSG’s and will turn off the MSG light button.  This does not delete any Voice Mail MSG’s and they still will be in your mailbox.  The light will come back on with the next Voice Mail MSG.
